Dr. Frank Kousaie MD, Medical Director and Chief of Staff


Dr. Frank Kousaie, MD serves as SMK Approved Care Group's Medical Director. An Ohio native, Dr. Kousaie attended and graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine (Omaha, NE) in 1985. Since the conclusion of his residency in 1989, he has continuously practiced anesthesia and pain management medicine in Northeast Ohio. He has a deep understanding of both acute and chronic pain conditions, as well as peripheral neuropathy, and has worked extensively with advanced pain management technologies and techniques.

Dr. Kousaie is passionate about SMK's commitment to improving patients' quality of life, particularly for the "older set" who depend on SMK for pain and neuropathy solutions. As a key member of SMK Approved Care Group's leadership team, Dr. Kousaie actively participates in the ongoing expansion of the practice and sets the bar for SMK’s excellent delivery of care.

Harry Stone, National Director

Mr. Stone is SMK’s executive in charge of the Group’s administration, provision of services and expansion. He shares Dr. Kousaie’s commitment to excellence in the delivery of medical care.

Mr. Stone has a passion for supporting healthcare initiatives nationwide.

David E. Martin, National Liaison

Mr. Martin is in charge of day to day operations of the Group. His scope of responsibility includes communications between SMK administration and staff, Medicare, the Veterans Administration (VA) and the Veteran community. Mr. Martin directs patient relations and he stands ready to provide thoughtful and compassionate support if and when needs arise. He is an authority on Electroanalgesic Therapy for chronic pain and conditions associated with peripheral neuropathy.
